We had a wonderful, wonderful trip. The three lodges were so different from each other which made it all the more interesting. We loved Blancaneaux for it’s incredible landscaping, architecture and attention to detail. and for its natural beauty; we loved Chaa Creek for its access to fantastic activities; and we loved Cotton Tree for its remoteness, amazing food, and the family style dining which allowed us to really get to know the other guests and, because there were only between four and six of us in total for three of the four nights, we got to know the staff as well which was quite interesting.
We especially loved ATM, our day at Eladio’s taking his farm tour and watching his daughter make chocolate, and the chartered flight up the coast and over the Blue Hole. Our evening jungle walks were incredible and I really loved my visit to Barranco with Alvin. The Belizians are such friendly and warm people and the fact that they all spoke English allowed us to converse on a deeper level which was so terrific.
I can’t thank you enough for your help in planning the trip. I didn’t have the time I wanted to properly plan and you seamlessly made everything work out perfectly.
