“We felt like we were part of the family! We stayed a few days in Belize before going to a wedding in Guatemala. Portofino was just what we needed. From the moment we got to there, we felt like family. Ashira is such a sweetheart. She welcomes you and makes sure you have everything you need. Raul, seemed to know a couple from New Orleans needed drinks all the time. Binky took me on my own private dive trip! Everyone at Portofino makes your feel special from the owners to the staff to the dive shop! It was so relaxing! Room Tip: I don’t think you can wrong with any of them!”

“Highly Recommend! Gorgeous, relaxing setting, with excellent staff. It has everything you need to stay and literally do nothing, yet offers great excursions for those adventurous types. The staff assists with setting everything up. Our accommodations were lovely, clean with fresh flowers daily. It wasn’t overly pretentious like some chain hotel and resorts. It is very romantic, perfect to hit the reset. There were kids there, but it doesn’t bother me, so long as they aren’t mine. However, I could see making it a fantastic and cultural family vacay, by renting out the mansion. Part of the fun and excitement is getting there! “
