Overview

The lodge’s origins were born in 1991 when the property was developed as a private country lodge. Built around natural spring fed creeks, the original rustic detailing has been carefully preserved and is visible in the log beams, wood floors and thatch roofs, where all the material was gathered or harvested from the property.

In 2004 the process of converting the family gathering place into a lodge began and since that time the property has seen the careful addition of modern amenities without sacrificing its stylistic heritage.

Located along the Sibun River and resting in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, some of the most sought after Belize excursions are located in close geographical proximity to the lodge, including Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM Caves), horseback riding, kayaking, cave tubing, the Black Hole Drop cave rappel, jungle hiking and more.
