Fulfilled our desire for both rainforest and water experiences
Patricia Johnson did a great job in selecting a Belize destination that fulfilled our desire for both rainforest and water experiences, The Copal Tree Lodge in Punta Gorda. She arranged activities tailored to our interests and hobbies. She listened well and was timely in her responses to our questions. We would use her again and recommend her without reservation.

The Copal Tree Lodge was great. The food was farm-to-table delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was the highlight. Warmer and more helpful people we have never met at a hotel setting before.

All of the activities were excellent, the Snorkel with the Chef experience was unique in that they moved us to Wednesday due to bad weather on Monday. We found out later that this was not a day they usually do this activity so we ended up getting a private experience, which was wonderful. The cave swimming day and the Bean to Bar workshop were also well executed and remarkable.
Due to rain, the staff was very flexible in rescheduling our activities several times so we did do everything we had planned.

They were communicative, thorough, and detailed
Rachael and Patricia stepped right up and helped us organize a last minute trip to Belize over the holidays. They were communicative, thorough, and detailed. We stayed, at Patricia’s recommendation, at the Turtle Inn which is fabulous. Seriously fabulous. I have never met nicer and more competent staff in any resort. Melvin, our naturalist guide, is encyclopedic on bugs, birds, Mayan ruins, plants, traditional herbal remedies, and any number of Belizean topics. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Helpful, informative, thorough and patient
Patricia was helpful, informative, thorough and patient while we were booking our family trip to Belize. We loved both places she had us stay (Chaa Creek, Turtle Inn), and the guides and recommended activities were excellent. She checked in with is several times during our trip and answered on the spot questions quickly! We had no logistical problems at all. We would book with her again in a heartbeat.

Your assistance with making arrangements was invaluable, I couldn’t have done it without you. Your insight to Belize was an asset to making our trip enjoyable. I was very pleased with the arrangements and flying from Belize City to Hopkins Bay vs driving, and flying back to the International Airport. We were able to take drives around town so I felt like we got to get a good look at the country side, orchards, and farms.

Thanks again to ALL of you for making our trip a good one and bringing home lots of memories we will cherish forever.

Thanks again for everything and pass on our satisfaction to all !!

Having never used an agency to make our holiday arrangements, having Rachael do all the organising for us took the stress out of trying to book hotel, internal flights etc online. Giving her our idea of a relaxing holiday, she sorted out the rest. It felt like my best friend was arranging our holiday for me! Brilliant – thank you so much.

We had a wonderful, wonderful trip. The three lodges were so different from each other which made it all the more interesting. We loved Blancaneaux for it’s incredible landscaping, architecture and attention to detail. and for its natural beauty; we loved Chaa Creek for its access to fantastic activities; and we loved Cotton Tree for its remoteness, amazing food, and the family style dining which allowed us to really get to know the other guests and, because there were only between four and six of us in total for three of the four nights, we got to know the staff as well which was quite interesting.

We especially loved ATM, our day at Eladio’s taking his farm tour and watching his daughter make chocolate, and the chartered flight up the coast and over the Blue Hole.   Our evening jungle walks were incredible and I really loved my visit to Barranco with Alvin. The Belizians are such friendly and warm people and the fact that they all spoke English allowed us to converse on a deeper level which was so terrific.

I can’t thank you enough for your help in planning the trip. I didn’t have the time I wanted to properly plan and you seamlessly made everything work out perfectly.

I was tasked by my world-traveling group of power women to design a spiritual journey to the land of the Mayan ancients, witnessing their temples in the jungle – yet with all the creature comforts they had become accustomed to on their travels with me over the last twenty-five years. Fortune smiled on me and I found Rachael Eteson and her tour operation, Absolute Belize. Rachael immediately grasped my nuanced request and provided an itinerary in short order. After a few tweaks I presented the final version to the group leader and we were good to go.

Rachael had done us proud – we did not get to see a jaguar (few do) but received everything else we had asked for, in comfort and in a luxurious manner we did not anticipate. She had a difficult task that was perfectly executed for which we thank her.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your help in planning our trip to Belize.  I literally had the time of my life on the adventure you planned for us.  Thank you for being so readily available.  I felt so stress free during vacation because of you!  I will certainly be recommending your services to the rest of my friends. Take care, and I’ll let you know again when I decide to come back to Belize!

When I travel, I am always the one to create the agendas, read reviews, book hotels and excursions, etc. It is one of my least favorite parts of vacationing as the choices are always a gamble. When I travel I am always basing my choices on the experiences of those that may not have the same preferences, interests or opinions as I do. When we traveled to Belize this month, we used Absolute Belize- a company specializing in creating unique travel experiences for those traveling in Belize. Using this service, to us was a no-brainer. Not only did it take all of the guessing out of planning the trip, but it reduced the un-needed stress that we would have faced otherwise.

Rachael, one of the co-owners of Absolute Belize, created an unbelievable vacation for us based on our interests and preferences. From the beautiful hotels, exciting excursions, guides and restaurants we were overly ecstatic with the people, quality and overall experience of everything she coordinated for us. We highly recommend letting her set up a “Catch and Cook” on Tranquility Bay – where you’ll go fishing for lobster (in season), red snapper, grouper, etc. with local guides and they’ll cook it for you right there on the beach (you won’t even have to bait your own hook which was a big plus for me!). Also, they organized manatee watching excursions, a sailing trip, and transportation to Caye Caulker (our favorite island) and the remote surrounding islands. We also had the option to explore the inland jungle and Mayan ruins.

Rachael and Sophie (the other co-owner) also knew which hotels, resorts and condos to book for us. They had the local expertise to really land us the best accommodations (and at a great price). Since they know so many people on the island, they are able to set up the best services that Belize offers.

Long story short- the advisors at Absolute Belize know it all – the island, the people, the best things to do, the best places to stay. They really get to know what each traveler is looking for in their vacation and create a unique itinerary specifically to meet their needs. We put all of our trust into Absolute Belize and we couldn’t have been any happier. WELL WORTH IT!!

Thank you again for ALL of your help!!!  EVERYTHING worked out GREAT and Belize was an incredible vacation and adventure for us!!!  It was fantastic getting to meet so many locals and we talked every one of their ears off trying to learn about them and Belize.  Five Sisters was AMAZING and I can’t imagine anything nicer!  Maybe the funniest thing was when John took us to the San Ignacio Hotel for lunch after Xunantunich, we were VERY surprised to see that the bar was the Stork Club!!!  I guess we must have been home.  Anyway, THANKS again!!!  You certainly helped make our trip to Belize so wonderful!!!

When I think of Absolute Belize, I think of an Oscar Wilde saying: “I have a simple taste, only the best”. I think that is what separates this organization from others. I am an owner of one of the properties they represent and I insist on everything being “simply the best”. These folks share my philosophy and in fact are emblematic of it. In all my dealings with them they have been professional, honest, caring and concerned not only with the big picture but with the details that usually define an experience. If you are looking for luxury, elegance, and superb service you can rely on them as well as they properties they represent as being the best of the best.

Absolutely perfect might be more accurate! Couldn’t fault our trip at all: Organisation, travel, location, accommodation, dining, sailing etc. all really high end and at sensible pricing. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment in recommending Absolute Belize to anyone.

Rachael Eteson has been on the island a couple of years now and knows everyone, where to dine and what to do. She organizes the stay so that we are taken care of from beginning to end. I truly believe that “service and attention” are Rachael’s middle name. Our group feels that this was one of the best vacations ever taken. When you take into consideration the location, the villa, food, weather, staff, the people of Belize, how well we were treated we give it an A+. We will be back!

Rachael is an excellent host whose attention to detail, friendly and approachable manner and great local knowledge and contacts ensure that guests are looked after superbly and can enjoy their stay on the Caye to the full, whether their priority is relaxation or whether they want to enjoy all the snorkeling, diving and other activities on offer.

Rachael was really knowledgeable about the aspects of the the island and how it works and has some great contacts there to help visitors get involved in lots of varied activities.  Her approach is perfect and is always available if required to help you organise as much or as little as you want.
