Extreme Belize

Zip line through the jungle
At up to 80 feet off the ground, see the tropical jungle from a bird’s eye view as you fly on a wire from treetop to treetop. Combine this with cave tubing, a relaxing way to round off the day as you glide gently down the river in an inner tube, through a network of caves with fascinating Mayan inscriptions and impressive crystal formations.
Dive the blue hole
One of the most famous dive sites in the world and an incomparable natural wonder. This atoll was once a dry cave, but rising sea levels over thousands of years caused the dome to collapse, resulting in the perfectly formed, 1,000ft diameter circular hole. It’s believed to be 430ft deep – at 130ft you can witness the world’s largest known underwater stalactites.
Jungle horseback ride
Horseback riding in Belize is extremely professional, with experienced guides and well cared for animals. Catering to all capabilities, horse riding in Belize can take you off the beaten track. Ride to hidden waterfalls and swim, explore various dry caves and even canoe deep inside an underground river cave, or let your hair down and gallop through open savannas.
ATM caves
Belize boasts the largest cave network in all of Central America. A breathtaking and unforgettable way to experience them is with a visit the ATM (Actun Tunichil Muknal) Caves, where you can climb, crawl and scramble through dark caverns, discovering Mayan artifacts, drawings and even skeletons over 1,000 years old along the way.
With around 200 ceramic vessels and the skeletal remains of 14 humans, all believe to be sacrificial victims, it is widely believed that it won’t be long before the ATM is closed to the public.
Night dive or snorkel
A night dive or snorkel off Ambergris Caye is not to be missed – see the nocturnal marine life as you have never seen it before… illuminated. Observe bioluminescence, where hundreds of species of fish and invertebrates use chemicals within their bodies to produce light. Their flashing colors produce a light show that could rival the Aurora Borealis!
